Prom is over, what a great relief. Karmun came over to my house to do makeup at 3 but we still ended up making T & V wait because makeup is such an awful drag. Eyeliner should be made less of a challenge - how about just creating a custom stamp and then you can just stamp it on your lids? :D
T and I spent ages looking for the council room key (and failed) but fortunately we met Sherwyn so we borrowed his key and room. Swissotel and Fairmont are surprisingly connected so we spent half an hour taking the lifts up and down and walking around Fairmont Singapore. I thought I may have heard the room number wrongly so we randomly tried inserting the key into a room until eventually a Caucasian guy said, "You're at the wrong room mate!" Or something like that. How embarrassing! I put on an accent and said sorry in hope that he won't recognise my voice and hunt us down later :X
Prom was great, because it's always great to be with friends. It's a rather tragically beautiful closure isn't it, since we'll never gather in the same way again. When we do again it might be during...batch dinner 10, 20 years later? Then again we won't be as youthful, some people may have gone (overseas I mean), friendships may have eroded into dust...
But now, I'll just laugh and admire the photos on Facebook.

Prom later. I'm quite whatever about it actually. Don't really see the point of going for prom and post-prom. I'm probably going for prom just cos it might be the last time I'm seeing some friends. Two years come and gone. The memories that will be treasured won't be the one of this evening but those of the two years.
Started the 30 day countdown to enlistment since the day right after prom. It seems such a rush. Time had never seemed too little for the past 11 years of holidays (except when it came to crunchtime for finishing holiday homework) but now it seems so short. (Less than) One month left. So much to do. SYFC work, mission trip, research project/job, teaching tuition, church, and more. Then off to waste two years of my life. But I'm not sad or anything, just whatever. Whatever.
I'm just waiting now. For where He places me. And His calling in my life.

hi. yesterday i wasted 2 hours sitting at the chicken coop doing nothing since my name was not called/was the only one in my weight cat. poor carrie's shoulder is screwed ): but on a brighter note, jeza pwnz! pinned b_ _ _ down. after that went to somerset 313 to find mum and it was freaking crowded. had to queue up to go into uniqlo it is ridiculous. but i bought blue & pink tank top + balck hoodie for under $30 altogether :) and today i bought a set of pretty-coloured pens. hot pink + orange + orange-yellow + lime green + sky blue + violet. i need to save up money for christmas shopping. don't eat so much and use $$ to buy presents. yey lose weight and increase $.
i want more shoes. but i'm broke. either i save up to buy one for christmas, or you can get me one and i'll totally love you 4EVA! (L)

i need sleeeeep. zzzzz. the past few days have been getting exponentially more horrible, culminating tomorrow's hell and i am pretty sure i will be too brain dead to 'enjoy' the time period running concurrent to prom (;D), if enjoying anything related to prom is not an oxymoron in itself. plus, no alcohol to keep me aliiiive. in fact, i am so tired now that i will just post an entry that i have been drafting since a few days ago haha. and surprisingly SATs were okay, meaning that i actually managed to finish both studying for physics in 2 days (gave up at the relativity crap NO WAY MAN quark off) and 75 physics mcq questions in an hour and not die of my heart rate increasing proportional to number of questions left which was not decreasing proportional to time. whatever thank God to infinity and beyond.

i have a huge cycling problem, namely, leroy is very strange. hahaha a high occurence of near accident moments. it is so bad that if i ever get a motorbike (aka a further speed boost) i would most certainly die of a motorbike accident. i am trying to analyse very carefully now what is wrong with the entire world??! wjekghfw and the way i cycle so that i can continue with this third world form of transport. so far, my tip of the day is - wear Vans to cycle. they effectively double the number of brakes heehee.

i have come up with another ennobling plan for my notes. i will fold 1000 paper cranes and, in a zorro mask, throw it at embittered people complaining in public about their unromantic partners and say in my batman voice: 'no big deal man'. but also because i am both cool like that and cheapo, i will hurry up go pick up everything after they stalk off and walk into an old folks home brightening up all of their days with macroeconomic theory. i think i will also fold a 3d model of the externalities graph and see if i can win the Top Cash Prizes in Economics WANTED!!! competition next year.

hullooooooooooooo i am back from Sentosa. it was raining. what an awesome trip. anyway i really need to complain about the horrible food and service in SG restaurants now!!!!!! so just now we were chilling at the Siloso beach cafe with my doggies, and we have been sitting there for more than 2 hours when the IDIOTIC waitress decided that dogs were "strictly not allowed" in her cafe. seriously wtffffffff. after fricking 2 hours and then you fricking decide that you "strictly" do not allow dogs?!?!?! so i threw the money for the drinks into her stinking face and we went to search for another lunch place. argh annoying. and there's this new Chinese place at Ion called Taste Paradise. i seriously HATE IT when waitresses try to recommend some dish to you and that dish is ALWAYS the most expensive on the menu. like the waitress just kept "highly recommending" some soup that she called sea whelk soup. so i was like okay, i like sea whelk. and BOOM, when the soup came, it was like 80% shark's fin. ugh i have sworn off shark's fin after the scuba diving trip years ago! so i was pissed.
okay sorry for bitching so much but i think its PMS. oh! on a happier note, i bought the most comfortable pair of heels EVER yesterday. i have never worn such comfy heels before! so happy :) and i am officially employed now. hah! what an awesome first step to adulthood.
i wanna go on a beach holiday!!!! SG is so gloomy and wet nowadays, it's depressing. so luckily my dad has decided not to go to Shanghai the week after next, so that leaves time for my beach paradise! i think i'll get so angry every single day that i'm in China. ugh. oh i need to buy super furry boots for my Japan trip. and i think i saw Uggs at Steve Madden. hahaha i want a pair of Uggs!!!! (no matter how fugly they are)

caught New Moon with Celene and Joey yesterday after training it was so fun we haven't gone out in so long la!! Cel and i bathed in school it was kinda gross cos the netball toilet with the showerheads was locked so we had to use some science block one with the hose -_- o we met Cel's seniors on the way. :)
anyway New Moon is sooo much better than Twilight!!!!! TAYLOR LAUTNER IS SO HOTTT. HAHAHA. i'm not a fan of Robert Pattinson but i think some angles he looks kinda cute ;) hehe. like here:

This fierce foursome is coming to Singapore!! I just can't wait~
I think I will stalk them at the airport, now I just need to know what flight they're on.
They're one of those groups who can actually sing, plus they're really down to earth, and they're not just one of those many cute young things who seem to dominate Korea nowadays. They did trade in a rather wholesome (read plain) image for rated MVs, skin-baring outfits and ooh suggestive dance moves but I wouldn't have fallen in love with them if they hadn't.
Does this not show the extent of my shallow self?!? I'm so ashamed. It does not help that another decently talented group never warranted any of my attention, but now they've turned slutty I'm playing their songs on repeat. Someone shoot me.

omg i dreamt the night before that we had one lit paper left, and this morning the first thing on my mind was study econs!!!!!! my dark spectre of notes towering high on my desk is hauntingggg me. what to do with all my notes? maybe i should shred them up and make a nest out of them seeing how i've already slept with them for the past month.

i can't begin to express how boring my life is and how much i've been enjoying it. going on holiday is going to be alot less relaxing hahaha! ugh many things have been going wrong for me lately as well and it is really horrible to have been so suay right at the start of MNL. oh well boohoo this means i have to be my freeloading kampung girl master self - as usual:
to save my dad from nasty german maniacs, i have been accompanying my dad all day [like Robin] to go fix his car?? and talk nonsense to entertain him and eat lunch and ward off parking coupon people. i think days like these are Momentous and Life-Changing as tai-tai training. i am also proud to say that i am upgraded to being a Town Kid because i keep going to orchard (cycling through)/(w my family, to eat) and trying on clothes for fun without buying anything. haha i also went to the beach w tootallie apunehneh ytd who changed her race lah omg?? hahaha she become from horlicks to milo now. i am angkukueh as usual. and we went to our favourite shop DAISO Always $2 hahaha i can't wait to see what she will wear to prom!!!!!! okay if anyone wants to go overseas w the two of us please comment, you will only need to pay all our airfare and accommodation (haha but we're serious about a trip, prob aft march)
